Position: Bartender
The Green Growler is looking for a Bartender/Server to work part-time, 10-20 hours per week. Responsibilities include tending bar, selling beer to go, light food preparation, table running, clean up and cashier work. A solid knowledge of craft beer and a proactive approach to learn more is required for the right candidate.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is NOT a seasonal job, we are looking for someone who is able to start as a part-time worker with further flexibility to take on other shifts.
Qualifications:

MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE as bartender or in food-service is required.

Must be able to work weekends and have flexibility for weekday/night shifts

Must be able to multi-task (ex: serve customers while prepping food items)

Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up bar; maintain stock of all beer, wine, paper products, glassware and ice

Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.

Prepare and store all food and other perishables properly to ensure product quality

Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner

Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained

Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area

Wash and sterilize glassware and countertops

Performs other duties as assigned
Salary: Hourly wage starts at $14/hour and is commensurate with experience, plus tips.

Must be able to work weekends but work days could include any days Tuesday-Sunday as we are open 6 days a week.
