Steve Chizmadia is a story teller in the folk / country tradition with roots in classic pop and rock. Born and raised on Long Island, Steve’s been playing music since his teens as well as acting, writing plays and occasionally directing. He’s won a handful of songwriting competitions including Noel Paul Stookey’s “Music To Life” (Grand Prize) The WildFlower Music and Art Festival, Woody Guthrie Festival (3rd place) Hudson Valley SongFest, Dallas Songwriters’, as well as being named a three time Kerrville Newfolk Finalist and a Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist in 2012. He released Jack Of All Trades, produced by master guitarist, singer/songwriter Peter Calo, in 2013. His music, acting and directing experience has melded over time to make him a captivating, heartfelt performer able to hold the stage whether playing with a full band or as a solo performer.
