Tim Horner began playing the drums at the age of ten. He received a Bachelor’s in Performance from Berklee and has been performing professionally for decades, first in Boston, then in New York where his experience, knowledge and skills have made him one of New York’s in demand jazz drummers. His first major professional work was with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and he has performed and recorded with many artists including Miroslav Vitous, John Scofield, Jack Wilkins, Buddy Defranco and Bob Mover. Tim has traveled extensively in the US, Europe, the Balkans, Asia, North and South America with some of the world’s greatest jazz talents, performing concerts, clubs, recordings, and teaching master classes.

Jay AzzolinaGrammy nominated guitarist/composter Jay Azzolina has been part of the New York Jazz scene for the past three decades. After leaving the Berklee College Of Music, where Jay studied with Pat Metheny, Mick Goodrick and Charlie Banacos, the guitarist began working and recording in New York with a variety of artists. Beginning in a more electric setting and later transitioning to acoustic jazz, Jay’s associations include Michael Urbaniak, Herbie Mann, Jaco Pastorius, Harvie S, Spyro Gyra, Dave Samuels, Kenny Werner, Chuck Mangione, Ron McClure, John Abercrombie, Randy Brecker, Jerry Bergonzi, The Westchester Jazz Orchestra and John Patitucci.

Croton’s own Mark Minkler, veteran bassist on the New York scene since 1981, has played with many artists crossing musical genres, among them: Buddy Rich, Blossom Dearie, Chris Connor, The Widespread Jazz Orchestra, The New York Pops Orchestra, and Growler favorite, Frank Migliorelli.
